哈萨克斯坦——中亚卫生纸市场的生力军

由卫生纸业专家Greg Grishchenko撰写 在2008年至2009年的世界金融危机波及哈斯克斯坦前,当地卫生纸市场的年均增长率为10%。行业专家Greg Grishchenko带来最新进展。 哈萨克斯坦于1991年与其他与几个中亚共和国一起从苏联独立。经历了苏联时代密集的农业开发以及核武器试验场的洗礼,该国环境问题严重。哈萨克斯坦首任及现任总统努尔苏丹·纳·扎尔巴耶夫从上任以来一直推行平衡的外交政策,并于1993年推动了核不扩散条约的批准。 现代哈萨克斯坦是全球最大的内陆国家,国土面积位列世界第九(270万平方公里),人口达1700万。凭借得天独厚的自然财富以及世界一流的旅游资源,该国经济正在迅猛发展。卡萨克斯坦中南部城市拜科努尔因作为俄罗斯航天项目发射基地而举世闻名。 哈萨克斯坦的卫生纸行业兴起于20世纪90年代早期,几乎与苏联解体同时,当时卫生纸产品来自俄罗斯有限的资源,其供应渠道开始瓦解。在苏联计划经济体制下,哈萨克斯坦是苏联军事、航天以及核项目的重要工业基地,拥有大量制造、采矿和测试基地。由于大部分国土地处沙漠和草原,哈萨克斯坦森林资源匮乏(约占其总面积的1.2%),这也是当地纸浆和造纸行业从未真正起步的原因。 当时哈萨克斯坦与邻国俄罗斯、中国以及更为遥远的土耳其建立了全新的供应渠道,以此获得各式卫生纸产品。部分新开张的小型商店使用进口大卷在当地加工最为低价的厕纸和餐巾纸。 在2008年至2009年的世界金融危机波及哈斯克斯坦前,当地卫生纸市场的年均增长率为10%。经过2009年以及2010年的负增长之后,卫生纸市场从2011年开始复苏,形成持续性温和增长的局面,增幅保持在个位数,其中手纸增幅最为明显。该国存在较大的贫富差距和城乡差异,农村地区的卫生纸产品花费仍微不足道。 然而过去四年,随着可支配收入的增加,部分消费者逐步从经济型品牌转向标准化甚至是优质产品。先进的城市消费者愿意增加花费以追求更高的舒适度,而这些产品往往来自技术较本国供应商更为先进的跨国制造企业(尤其是在失禁用品部门)。不过相较于品质优良,大部分国民在选择产品时仍将价格低廉视为优先考虑因素。 根据欧睿信息咨询(Euromonitor International)提供的数据,2012年该国卫生纸零售额为2000万美元,其中83%来自手纸,另外15%来自面纸和餐巾纸。年人均卫生纸消费量约为1.4千克。与来自宝洁中亚公司、Kimberly-Clark Corp以及SCA等跨国企业的失禁用品相比,以优质手纸、厨房用纸和餐巾纸等形式进口的卫生纸数量微不足道。 虽然自有品牌并不存在,但2012年最受消费者喜爱的产品仍是低价经济的卫生纸品牌。很多领先的跨国卫生纸制造企业及其当地分销商则提供价格适中的品牌。然而,在标准化产品和经济产品类别中,目前占据领先地位的是位于阿拉木图的本国供应商Karina Trading TOO,位居第二的是土耳其Ipek Kagit Kazakhstan TOO公司旗下的同名子公司。尽管哈萨克斯坦拥有发达的采矿和加工业,但目前为止,其居家外市场的规模很小,仅限于正处于增长阶段的快餐店业务。   零售选择 凭借其在各居住区中便捷的位置,独立小型杂货店(根据欧睿信息咨询的数据,占卫生纸零售额的58%)目前仍是哈萨克斯坦主要的分销渠道。近年来,大城市的超市数量急速增加。小型杂货店以经济型品牌的销售为主,种类有限,而超市则依赖于更加完善的分销系统,为所有地区的居民展示各类卫生纸产品,从低价产品到奢侈产品应有尽有。2012年,零售额最大的企业是Magnum Cash & Carry TOO,Ramstore Kazakhstan TOO紧随其后。虽然Ramstore(土耳其)、麦德龙(德国)以及Maxima(立陶宛)等跨国连锁超市在哈萨克斯坦的市场占有率逐渐增加,但由于国内超市门店全年全天候营业且价格实惠,本国的连锁超市更受消费者的欢迎。 超市中卫生纸产品品牌的多样化密切反映出:该国紧邻制造中心,并在全国建立起分销附属机构和“灰色”市场渠道。由于自有品牌的缺失,超市出售的手纸、厨房用纸以及面巾纸包括Mola、Lambi和Öko- Purex (Metsä Tissue)、Kleenex (Kimberly-Clark)、Zewa (SCA)、Sammy (Wepa)、Selpak和Silen(Ipek Kagit –土耳其)、Karina (哈萨克斯坦)、Veiro(Syktyvkar...
