2013 was a year to remember: in the season that marked the 20th anniversary of Tissue World, the show moved from Nice to Barcelona, expectations were building up, and thanks to all exhibitors, visitors and delegates, the end result was a great show that galvanized everybody who attended.
Concurrently tissue world markets have been changing fast: new threats, greater business opportunities, the necessity to learn more, deeper and faster.
Tissue World’s platform of events, conferences and publications reacted swiftly with the aim of staying ahead of the curve for the benefit of our attendees: in Miami a concise new learning experience called TRIF (Tissue Retailers and Distributors Insight Forum) has been launched, which gives tissue sourcing, category and business development managers unique insight and understanding of the $80 billion tissue products category.
The main implication being, for the first time Tissue World covers the whole tissue value chain and its business functions. But now there is more to do to serve the tissue business.
Based on the feedback from a vast array of industry players, on systematic market research and on the analysis of prospective growth of the tissue business, Tissue World is to launch two new events in order to augment the reach of its global portfolio and better serve additional fast growing markets: TW Istanbul (September 25-26, 2014) and TW Sao Paulo (May 27-29, 2015).
TW Istanbul 2014 will be a summit to discuss local and international topics during a two days conference in a pivotal city for a vast region spreading from East Europe, North Africa and Middle East to Russia and the ex-CIS countries. An area that is intrinsically multi-faceted and diverse but united by a strong growth in the respective tissue markets.
TW Sao Paulo 2015 will focus on Brazil, a fast growing market that did not have a dedicated tissue show yet to refer to. Brazil is an immense and unique country with a set of strict rules and regulations that operators must abide by in order to leverage its undisputed potential. Hot topics that will be discussed extensively during the conference and on the trade show floor with local and international exhibitors.
Istanbul and Sao Paulo will ultimately create additional solid bridges for exhibitors and visitors from the regions and beyond to interconnect in fast growing vital markets for the industry. An exciting challenge that Tissue World endeavors to take up!
