Arcadia Paper Mills has reactivated the historic Boise Cascades, St. Helen’s paper mill.
The company had completed the purchase of the 30-acre paper mill from the city of St. Helens in December of 2025.
On 15 July 2026, Arcadia successfully restarted the wet crepe towel machine and produced its first roll of towelling, beginning to sell paper to converters in September.
The company will produce napkin and towel grades from 12 to 25 lb, and its annual production will increase to 45,000 tons per year over the next 12 months.
