CMPC Group subsidiary Softys has completed a rebuild of its Recard-supplied PM.
Recard revamped the Puente Alto, Chile-based PM17 in order to replace the fourdrinier with an up-to-date Crescent Former.
The supplier said the machine is now is fully compliant with the tissue quality and quantity production characteristics required by the company and was restarted on 1 May.
Softys manufactures tissue paper and personal care products and is a subsidiary of Chilean-headquartered CMPC.
