Event organiser Informa Markets has announced that its September 2021 Tissue World Düsseldorf trade show and conference will now take place in the Spring of 2023.
Following the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, the event organiser said that in order to provide an exhibition which meets Tissue World’s usual high standards – as well as to maintain the essential necessity of delegates’ safety – it has been necessary to postpone the event.
Tissue World Event Manager Tom Hill said in a statement: “Having spoken to the key stakeholders it has become clear that the community is divided on whether we can run this event at a scale that makes it successful and a worthwhile return on investment for all parties.
“Therefore, we feel that the responsible action is to postpone the event and make sure that we give more clarity to the communities we serve and allow them to plan their business strategies more effectively.”
Following the growth of many tissue markets across the world over the last 18 months, the Tissue World team will continue to keep you up to date on these market developments through Tissue World Magazine, and looks forward to bringing the community back together at Tissue World Miami in March 2022.
