China’s Baosuo Enterprise Group has entered the Middle Eastern tissue market with a turnkey solution for a leading tissue manufacturer.
Based in a confidential location, a BC1300-2850 Crescent Former TM will be supplied to the plant, which once fully up and running will produce 35,000tpy of high-end household paper.
A spokesman for Baosuo said the project was an active step towards establishing the Belt and Road Initiative, a global infrastructure development strategy adopted by the Chinese government in 2013 to invest in nearly 70 countries and international organisations.
He said: “The Middle East is the intersection of the ancient land and sea ‘Silk Road’ and the key area for the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative today.”
