The Wacker Group has announced global price increases of up to 12% for its dispersions, resins and dispersible polymer powders.
Effective as of 1 May or as customer contracts allow, the company said the measures have been “necessitated by rising costs for raw materials and logistics, and by the excessive increase in manufacturing related energy costs”. It said: “Surging energy costs will also result in an increase in existing surcharges for dispersible polymer powders.”
It added that the price adjustments will enable the group’s polymers division to secure the capability for future growth across focus markets.
