BTG has announced the appointment of Emmanuel Rapendy as President and Chief Executive.

Effective 1 October 2026, he joins BTG from Sulzer, where he served as Global Head of the Polymer and Crystallisation Business Unit within the Chemtech Division.

He brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience in the specialty chemicals and process industries.

Since joining Sulzer in 2013, Emmanuel held a series of leadership roles of increasing scope and responsibility.

Prior to Sulzer, he held senior commercial and business development roles at SpecialChem in France, and technical positions at Sartomer and Eastman Kodak in the United States.

Rainer Rauch has served as Interim Chief Executive during the transition period.
