Vajda Papír’s Dunaföldvár paper mill, where the AHEAD 2.2L will be supplied

Hungary’s Vajda Papír has invested in a Toscotec-supplied AHEAD 2.2L turnkey tissue line at its Dunaföldvár mill near Budapest.  

Start-up is planned for the first half of 2022 and the TM will feature a net sheet width of 5.6m, a maximum operating speed of 2,200mpm, and a production capacity of over 80,000tpy.  

The machine is equipped with the fully hydraulic TT Headbox-MLT, TT NextPress of upgraded design, a third-generation TT SYD, gas fired TT Hood and Air System engineered with several steps of energy recovery.
