Optima Group has boosted its tissue packaging offering and strengthened its turnkey solutions ability by acquiring Senning.
Bremen, Germany-based Senning specialises in the production and packaging of paper and tissue products, offering integrated packaging systems from a single source.
Hans Buehler, the Managing Director and Chief Executive of the Optima Group, said: “The production and packaging technology for paper tissues and napkins developed by Senning constitutes an ideal addition to our product portfolio.
The family business was founded by Christian Senning in Bremen in 1949 and will continue to operate under the Senning name.
Annette Bengs is the third generation of the family to head up the company as its Managing Director.
