Brazil’s Manikraft has increased its production of high-quality tissue after starting-up a Hergen-supplied PM rebuild.
The family-run business is aiming to improve the quality of its products and enable the production of double ply tissue.
Scope of supply comprised for the PM1 rebuild included the new former section HCF-1225, which has a design speed of 1,600m/min and replaced the existing Fourdrinier.
A new iNOVAFLOW hydraulic headbox and a new felt section besides the whole approach flow system were also installed.
The rebuild also included the new threading system, a new pope reel drum with vacuum sheave to improve machine runnability.
