Fabio Perini, Casmatic and MTC have officially rebranded under the Körber Group name in a move the company said will offer a distinctive and complete range of technologies dedicated to the global tissue market.
The companies of the Körber Groups Business Area Tissue will continue to target converting and packaging machinery for the production of toilet rolls, kitchen towels and folded products.
When asked by TWM if the business can rule out further acquisitions or growth following the rebrand, Oswaldo Cruz Junior, Chief Executive of the Business Area Körber Tissue, said: “The tissue industry is dealing with many challenges. Pulp price volatility, fierce competition across global markets, and the need for stronger differentiation are just the beginning.
“The rebranding represents an important opportunity for growth so at the moment we don’t exclude anything.”
Fabio Perini, the world’s largest tissue converting and packaging equipment supplier, and Casmatic, the brand dedicated to packaging lines, have been operating in the tissue market for over fifty years.
MTC develops and produces folding and interfolding machines for the global tissue market.
In 2019, the Körber Group also increased its Business Area Tissue division after acquiring Roll-Tec Cilindro, a Brazilian-based embossing roll specialist.
