BTG has launched Pulp 4.0, an integrated solution that it said will improve overall fiberline performance and productivity.

The company said that the integrated approach involves “cutting-edge process measurements that are combined with advanced process controls”.

It said: “Pulp 4.0 improves pulp quality while decreasing process variability resulting in an optimised production cost. The economic benefits are up to $10 per tonne when applied across the fiberline.”

Key critical process measurements including fibre kappa measured by Single Point Kappa Analysers (SPK), total kappa measured by Bleach Load Transmitters (BLT), brightness measured by Brightness Transmitters.
