Poland’s FP Kaczory has started-up its PMP-supplied Intelli-YD Steel Yankee dryer.
The line produces tissue and has a maximum operation speed of 1,500mpm and a paper trim of 3.1m.
The Steel Yankee dryer has a diameter of 4.5m, a shell length of 3.5m, and the scope of supply included spare parts, erection and start-up supervision services.
PMP said that the Yankee dryer achieved up to 15% higher drying efficiency compared to previous technologies.
It said: “Intelli-YD allows a company to save energy and money and ensures high durability.”
FP Kaczory was established in 1992 and specialises in waste paper processing and toilet paper production at its production plant in Kaczory, and pulp products in a second production plant in Margonin.
