United Arab Emirates-based Star Paper Mill is to increase its production capacity after signing a contract for the supply of a turnkey plant.
Supplied by Recard, once up and running the investment will produce around 38,000tpy of high quality tissue products. The plant will be equipped with two stock preparation lines (long and short virgin fibre) and two rewinders with variable-crown calendar to enhance paper softness.
The Crescent Former will be provided with a latest-generation shoe press. Start-up is scheduled for Spring 2018.
