Andritz is showcasing its latest range of high-tech technologies, from stock preparation to tissue machine, automation and pumps.

Thomas Scherb, Andritz director of tissue and PB machines, Latin America, said: “Tissue World São Paulo is a great opportunity for tissue producers to network, exchange ideas, and see the latest technologies.

“Our experts will be at our booth ready to discuss the latest innovations and solutions.”

The company is also giving a talk at the conference, with Scherb discussing its latest innovations.

He added: “Andritz delivers sophisticated stock preparation and approach flow systems that process fibres with optimum effect and according to the individual requirements of the raw material and final product.

“Learn more about the Andritz ShortFlow concept – a flexible but simplified and compact process layout with high-level control philosophy.”

The company will also be highlighting the new and patented PrimeLineTM VRT, a vertical CrescentFormer tissue machine.

Scherb said: “It enables remarkable energy savings as well as higher dryness and bulk. Apart from complete tissue machines, customers will find innovations in key equipment like the PrimePress XT Evo – a state-of-the-art shoe press with a unique edge control system – and the PrimeDry Steel Yankee, which provides highest machine efficiency.”

For process automation throughout the plant, the company will also be highlighting its PrimeControl distributed control system (DCS), designed specifically for tissue machines.

“It combines low investment cost with easy scaling and a short commissioning period,” he added.

“PrimeControl uses a single system to handle multiple tasks, such as quality control (QCS) or machine, drive, and process control: there is no need for separate systems to run alongside one another.

“Maintenance is fast and easy, and further process entities can be easily integrated when required.”
