WEPA's Piechowice plant will hoast a new Gambini-supplied converting line

Germany’s WEPA has invested in a Gambini-supplied converting line that will be installed at its Piechowice plant.

The line is designed to produce AfH tissue rolls and can operate at speeds of up to 600m/min.

Its flagship will be the TouchMax, the embosser designed by Gambini.

Carlo Berti, Gambini sales director, said: “We want to return moving at our usual pace.

“Our enthusiasm is nourished by internationalisation, though we are committed to remaining very firmly in Lucca, with our mind and heart.

“This order is important at a symbolic level as well, since it marks a restart after the health and social disaster caused by the coronavirus – a new beginning.”
