Guangdong Shaoneng Group Co. has increased its production capacity after investing in 16 lines for its Leiyang Cailun tissue plant.
The lines were supplied by Baosuo Enterprise Group and were installed in the first quarter of 2020.
They were: 12 BC1600-2850 Crescent Former TMs, two SF12-1100 Suction Former TMs, one BC1200-2850S Double Dryer for hand towel production and one BC1400-3900 Crescent Former TM.
The project is located in Cai Lun, the hometown of papermaking in the Hunan-Leiyang Economic Development Zone.
Leiyang is known as the “Paper Capital” and has a renown papermaking culture and rich bamboo resources.
With a total investment of three billion yuan and a construction scale of 500,000tpy of household paper, the project is one of the largest single investment projects amongst Chinese household papermaking projects.
The project will be constructed in phases; the initial construction scale is 300,000 tonnes, while the second phase construction scale is about 200,000 tonnes.
After the project is fully completed, the annual output value can reach more than 10 billion yuan, and a large number of jobs will also be created.
