Resolute Forest Products has appointed Remi G. Lalonde as president and chief executive as Yves Laflamme steps down from the role.
Laflamme has worked for the company for 39 years and will be retiring as of 1 March 2021, when Lalonde will take over.
Lalonde currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and has been with Resolute for 11 years.
Resolute Forest Products produces a range of products including market pulp, tissue, wood products and papers.
