Södra Cell has increased the price of its northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp as “supply remains tight”.
As of 1 April, the company’s NBSK pulp has been increased in Europe to $1,170/tonne.
Magnus Björkman, VP marketing and sales Södra Cell, said: “We continue to see very strong global demand while supply remains tight.
“This latest increase is a reflection of the on-going imbalance in the global market.”
