Mexico’s Convertidor de Papel has increased its high-quality tissue production capacity after investing in an Intelli-Tissue Advanced 2100 tissue machine.
Supplied by PMP, the Crescent Former line will have a maximum capacity of 41,000tpy, a reel trim of 2.8m and a maximum balance speed of 2,100mpm.
The machine will produce high quality tissue with the basis weight range of 12.5-40gsm at the reel.
PM6 will be equipped with state-of-the-art equipment designed and manufactured by PMP, including core technological units, such as hydraulic headbox Intelli-Jet V, Intelli-Former CF type, Intelli-Press, gas heated Yankee hood Intelli-Hood and a 15’ steel Yankee Dryer Intelli-YD.
Scope of supply will cover also stock preparation system, dust and mist removal systems, recovery steam generator, mechanical and electrical drives, steam and condensate system and vacuum system.
Delivery and start-up are scheduled for the middle of 2020.
