Buckman will increase the cost of its freight pricing for the pulp and paper industry in North America.
Effective 1 November, the increases are:
• Buckman-arranged bulk tank truck orders – $.02 – $.04/lb.
• Buckman-arranged IBC/drum truck orders – $.02/lb.
The company said the change is “being driven by the continued shortage of drivers, limited capacity of truck and rail carriers, new freight regulations and rising cost of fuel”.
