Spain’s LC Paper has said its Valmet Perini MyGo line installed at its Besalú, Girona-based site delivered a 12% improvement in line efficiency and more than a 25% increase in production compared to the same period in 2025.

A producer of kraft paper, tissue and related products, the company’s Perini MyGo is producing toilet and kitchen paper rolls with diameters up to 200mm at a speed of 600m/min.
In recent years, LC Paper has evolved its business model from parent roll producer to a manufacturer of finished products and production partner for third-party brands.

Pau Vila Garcia, Chief Executive of LC Paper, told TWM that the project has “delivered a 12% improvement in line efficiency”, and over a 25% increase in production compared to the same period in 2025.
He said: “Maintaining operational continuity throughout the entire project was essential for us.
“As manufacturers for third-party brands and suppliers serving end consumers directly, we could not afford delays or production interruptions.
“Perini MyGo met this need perfectly: a plug-and-play machine with reduced installation times and, above all, predictable ones.”
In just 16 days, the new line reached full production, and LC Paper succeeded in increasing production capacity.
LC Paper was founded in 1881 and is now led by the fifth generation of the founding family.
