Kimberly-Clark (K-C) has announced significant investment plan at its Coris Mill in Costa Rica. The expansion programme includes more than US$40m investment in the mill and the creation of jobs at its Global Business Services centre.

K-C Costa Rica employs over 1,500 collaborators who produce over five million products daily to supply the domestic
and regional markets. The company said the investment will bring cutting-edge technology to its mill to support the increased production of its baby and child-care and feminine care businesses and improve expansion at its national headquarters and Global Business Centre.

The investment comes as K-C is increasing production capacity for domestic consumption and exports. The company supplies Costa Rica with a daily production of over three million diapers and two and
a half million sanitary napkins. It also produces five million products daily to supply Panama, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.
