PMP has delivered an Intelli-Reel tissue machine to a paper mill in France.
The paper machine supplier was unable to comment on the name of the company at this time.
Signed for in July 2020 with start-up planned for spring 2021, the customer is a global hygiene and health business and it is the first project between the two companies.
The line will produce tissue with a basis range from 12 to 24gsm from virgin fibres and will have an operating speed of 1,600mpm and a reel trim width of 5.4m.
Scope of supply will include the complete new reel Intelli-Reel with controls, a hydraulic unit, necessary installations on site, a tail cutter and controls, and assembly of a new component and disassembly of an existing one.
