UK tissue converter Nova Tissue Co. has increased its production facilities after investing £1.5m in an OM1 Bundler supplied by Infinity Machine & Engineering Corp. and a rewinder line supplied by Valmet.
The machinery will be installed at the family-run company’s Oldham-based plant in North West England.

He added the Infinity-supplied OM1 Bundler is “a next-generation packaging machine that will streamline our bundling process, delivering precision and speed.”
It will also enable further reductions in LDPE (low-density polyethylene) packaging.
Iqbal added: “By minimising the use of plastic in packaging, the OM1 Bundler helps us reduce our environmental footprint while maintaining high standards of packaging quality.”
The Valmet-supplied rewinder line features advanced technology, including a rewinder equipped with Sincro technology, an Embosser 452/D with Engraving Solution rollers to enhance product quality and aesthetics, and a precision unwind stand to enhance product quality and aesthetics.
Equipped with the Aquabond System, Iqbal said it allows Nova Tissue to eliminate the use of laminate glue, reducing glue consumption to zero.

Nova Tissue Co was established in 1984.
