Södra Cell is increasing the price of its northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp in Europe by $100 to $1,220 per tonne.
Effective 1 April 2021, the pulp giant said that the “global NBSK market is very tight, and in Europe a robust demand is outpacing supply”.
Henrik Wettergren, VP Marketing and Sales, Södra Cell, said: “This announcement reflects the overall market sentiment.”
