Solenis' HQ: the company has closed the acquisition of German-headquartered SCL

Solenis has closed on the acquisition of 100% of the outstanding shares of German-headquartered SCL.

SCL produces DMA3, a primary raw material for cationic polyacrylamide production used in water treatment.

Solenis said the acquisition helps it fulfil an insourcing objective and supports its polyacrylamide strategic global growth plan.

John Panichella, Chief Executive, Solenis, said: “This is our first bolt-on acquisition following our recent ownership change to Platinum Equity.

“It provides Solenis with the backward integration that supports our polyacrylamide growth plan and better enables us to provide strategic products to our customers around the world.”
