Argentina’s Papeles Tissue Rosario has increased its toilet roll and kitchen towel capacity after investing in a complete automatic converting and rewinding line.

Supplied by the Amaco Group, the line was installed at the company’s Rosario site where it will produce toilet paper and kitchen towels for the local tissue market.

It has a width of 2,000mm and a fully servo motor control system with a double embossing unit and a lamination deco system.

The machine can rewind and cut household and maxi-roll industrial rolls on the same line.

It has a production capacity of around five tonnes every eight hours, which includes packaging with polyethylene plastic bags and automatic core-making machines.

Production is expected to start-up in December 2017.
