Celebrating excellence across European tissue manufacturing with 12 categories including Tissue Mill of the Year, Transformational Leadership, and Energy Efficiency and Net Zero Achievement Awards up for grabs, the Tissue World Awards are officially back.
Held as part of Tissue World Lisbon, the Awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday 6 April 2027 just before the Day Zero drinks to kick off the world’s biggest tissue event.
The Awards will honour the companies and individuals driving progress across the European tissue industry and will be held at a stunning Portuguese heritage site – the location of which will be announced very soon!
This exclusive evening brings together industry leaders for a formal ceremony and gala dinner recognising excellence across 12 categories.
Following the awards presentation, guests will be welcomed to the Day Zero networking drinks at the same venue, creating the perfect start to Tissue World Lisbon.

Arrival & Networking:
Arrive at our stunning heritage site gazebo for our welcome reception. Enjoy local wines and artisan canapés while live Portuguese music sets the perfect ambiance. Network with fellow guests in our dedicated reception area, all designed to immerse you in authentic Portuguese hospitality from the moment you arrive.
Dinner & Awards Ceremony:
Settle in for an elegant dining experience featuring a carefully crafted menu, live music, and entertainment. After dinner, the awards ceremony kicks off with a welcome speech, followed by the presentation of awards across 12 distinguished categories, celebrating excellence throughout the evening.
Post-Ceremony & Transition:
After the ceremony, celebrate and engage with award winners. Professional photos will be taken, and certificates will be presented to the runners up. Then gradually transition to the Day Zero drinks area to continue the evening’s connections in a more relaxed setting.
Day Zero Drinks Reception:
Move to the Day Zero reception area in the same venue, open to all Tissue World Lisbon attendees. It’s the perfect opportunity to continue networking with the broader tissue community.
