Kimberly-Clark (K-C) has announced mid-to-high single digit percentage price increases for its North American Consumer Products business.
Customers in the USA and Canada have now been notified of the plans to increase net selling prices across the majority of the tissue giant’s North America consumer products business.
K-C said that nearly all of the increases will be effective in late June and will impact its baby and childcare, adult care and Scott bathroom tissue businesses.
It said the hikes were necessary “to help offset significant commodity cost inflation”.
The increases will be implemented almost entirely through changes in list prices.
