China’s Yunnan Nan’en Sugar Paper has signed for its second Baosuo Enterprise Group-supplied Baotuo BC1300-2850 Crescent Former tissue machine.
The company made the second part of its expansion project just a few months after starting up its first Baotuo paper machine in December 2020.
Both Baotuo paper machines are BC1300-2850 Crescent Former tissue machines with a width of 2.8m and the design speed is 1300m/min.
Nan’en now has an annual production capacity of 40,000 tonnes of sugarcane pulp and bamboo eucalyptus pulp.
According to Baosuo, since the end of 2020 the price of international commercial wood pulp has been “steadily rising, which has ushered in opportunities for Nan’en and other pulp and paper companies in the industry”.
Additionally, Nan’en Company is also planning to build a plant with an annual output of 102,000 tonnes of pulp, 102,000 tonnes of jumbo roll paper, and 102,000 tonnes of final paper.
