Knowledge-driven conference and magazine
With a conference theme of Future-Proofing the Tissue Industry for Sustainable Growth, the Tissue World Conference is a hallmark of the event.
It will return in 2025 with an agenda addressing the most pressing challenges and opportunities in the tissue sector.
The tissue industry is entering a new era where sustainability, innovation, and resilience are taking centre stage as critical drivers for long-term success.
The conference will delve into how manufacturers, suppliers, and industry leaders are adapting to evolving market demands.
Through insightful discussions and collaborative solutions, presentations taking place in the Senior Management Symposium and Technical Sessions will aim to empower the industry to navigate global challenges, meet consumer expectations for sustainability, and secure a thriving future.
Luigi Lazzareschi, Sofidel Group Chief Executive, has been announced as the keynote speaker.
Under his leadership at Sofidel – a leading Italian headquartered tissue giant, and now America’s fourth largest tissue manufacturer following the $1.06bn acquisition of Clearwater Paper Corporation’s tissue division – Lazzareschi has driven the company’s brand growth, international expansion, and sustainability initiatives since 1988.
Conference sessions will also feature interactive panels and case studies, enabling attendees to gain actionable insights to navigate global challenges and meet consumer expectations for sustainability.
For delegates and attendees, the knowledge drivers at Tissue World Düsseldorf will be doubly sourced.
In the run up to the event, TWM’s January/February edition will also hold a special edition focusing on the German tissue market and feature in-depth interviews with executives at Germany’s mills.
TWM’s March/April edition will be printed and distributed at the event, and will be dedicated to the Italian tissue market as well as including the annual ‘Paper Machine: Technical Theme’ and the unique ‘Projects Survey’ report.
Gerry Dunphy, Event Director for Tissue World, said: “Tissue World Düsseldorf 2025 promises to build on the exceptional momentum established in 2023.
“Our return to Messe Düsseldorf underscores the event’s importance as a global hub for innovation, collaboration, and growth in the tissue industry.
“It’s an unmissable opportunity for businesses to showcase their capabilities, explore emerging trends, and connect with key players shaping the future of tissue.”
