Italian tissue manufacturer Lucart has appointed Francesco Pasquini as Chief Executive and confirmed Massimo Pasquini as Chairman.
Francesco Pasquini joined Lucart in 2005 and he currently holds and will continue to hold the role of Group Sales and Marketing Director, coordinating the three business areas (AfH, Consumer, Business to Business).
Massimo Pasquini has led the group since 2004.
In August, private equity company Azzurra Capital announced it had entered into an agreement to acquire a stake in Pasfin, the holding company that controls 100% of Italian-headquartered tissue, airlaid, and MG paper products manufacturer Lucart.
The Board of Directors is now: Massimo Pasquini – Chairman; Francesco Pasquini – Chief Executive Officer; Alessandro Pasquini, Lorenzo Pasquini and Tommaso De Luca – Executive Directors; GianErnesto Bernardi, Cristina Ferrari, Federico Lovadina and Massimo Innocenti – Non-Executive Directors.
Francesco Pasquini said: “It is my intention to build on the years of experience at the head of the sales and marketing area to lead Lucart to achieve the ambitious growth and profitability targets set out in the group’s strategic plan.
“Social and environmental sustainability have always been our guiding factors and, focusing on the group’s more than 70 years of history, I am convinced that we will be able to improve ourselves every day by innovating also from a technological point of view.
“Together with Azzurra Capital, we are studying a growth and expansion plan that will help the company achieve new goals.”
