Tissue World has announced that Italian entrepreneur and tissue technology visionary Fabio Perini will deliver a keynote address and Q&A at the upcoming Tissue World Miami conference.
The keynote speech – My vision for the tissue factory of the future: Competitive, Sustainable… Perhaps Surprising – will be held on Friday 2 February, and the industry is welcome to submit their questions for Fabio Perini before Monday 8 January.
The address and the Q&A will be pre-recorded and then presented to the Miami conference.
It is the first time in the history of Tissue World that Fabio Perini has addressed the event.
Born into a papermaking family, Fabio Perini began his career at 17 with the patent of a paper manufacturing automation device.
His subsequent technological breakthroughs revolutionised global tissue converting, making Lucca, Italy, a capital of the global tissue industry.
His patents also inspired Futura, a technology and innovation leader of Consumer and AfH converting lines.
Recognised for his contributions, he was named ‘Cavaliere del Lavoro’ in 1991 and received the ‘Leonardo Qualità Italia’ prize in 2007.
A visionary leader, Fabio Perini continues to shape the future of tissue manufacturing and automation with enduring passion and ingenuity.
