BLOW 'N THROW™ FOR CLEAN TISSUE DISPOSAL
Blow 'n Throw™ tissue boxes, from Creative Minds LLC, a small US-based company, are a simple way of disposing of all those used hankies that can clutter up the office, car or living area. Andrew Carr, who thought up the system, thought that, if you just had a way to gently push those tissues out of your sight-line you could get rid of the trash and the germs.

“Eliminate the wastebasket, with its hit-and-miss clutter and its next-week cleanup. Let’s use the same simple motion that brings a fresh tissue—and easily get that tissue out of sight. Never have to deal with it again,” was his thinking. The tissue box has a removable sac, large enough for a long car journey or a film on TV. When the sac is full, it can be removed and disposed of when it is convenient. The replacement sacs can be included within the tissue box. All-in-one.

Carr has begun to manufacture and distribute the boxes. He has a patent pending and is pursuing foreign patents. The receptacle bags will soon be made of corn, so they will be 100% biodegradable. With the additional receptacle space, the boxes are about 3.2 cm taller than the conventional tissue box. There are six receptacles in each box.

Each receptacle can hold 15-20 tissues. His company will soon be selling extra/refill receptacles separately, Carr says.
