Specialty chemicals producer Solenis is to increase its prices on all wet strength and sizing product lines across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The hike will see prices increase by 10 – 20% on all wet strength and sizing product lines across the EMEA region, effective immediately or as customer contracts allow.
The company said that the price increase was necessary “due to the significant increase in key raw material costs”.
Jose Santolaya, global product director, functional chemicals, pulp and paper, said: “We are unable to absorb the impact of the increased costs that we are currently experiencing but we will continue to work in partnership with our customers to help mitigate the increases.”
