Poland’s Pol-Mak has increased its capacity after investing in a high-performance Slitter Rewinder, model TP-3US-TRH18.
Supplied by Tecno Paper, the rewinder has a trim width of 2.8m and includes three unwind stands for parent reels with a diameter of 2.5m, a slitting unit with 15 single and motorised slitters and a rewinding head suitable for finished reels with a diameter of 2.0m and speeds of up to 1600m/min.
The services provided by Tecno Paper are the complete basic and detailed engineering, erection supervision, start-up and training.
The successful start-up and commissioning took place in Pol-Mak’s mill during the first week of October 2017.
