The industry’s most prestigious and international tradeshow – this year held in Italy, the heart of the tissue industry – has been attended by an impressive 3,284 participants.
Tissue World Milan 2017 hosted 2,274 visitors drawn from across an equally impressive 106 countries.
Some 1,010 people from 200 companies exhibited their latest technical and innovative developments, while 25 companies exhibited for the very first time.
The three-day conference hosted 53 speakers who discussed the latest tissue and economic trends to 234 attendees.
The Tissue World TV-corner also went into full swing and featured live interviews by the one and only, ‘the other Michael Jackson’, broadcasted across the show floor.
Social events included the Tissue World Gala Dinner, a happy hour and live band performance on the show floor.
Additionally, the Tissue World Awards awarded Hungary’s Vajda Papir with the Best Tissue Marketing Strategy Award while Spain’s LC Paper won the Most Energy-Aware Mill Award.
