The Pulp and Paper industry is one of the most energy-intensive industries worldwide. At Asian Paper & Tissue World Bangkok 2018, Solar Turbines will unveil its new technologies, Integrated Energy Optimization System (IEO), which will help pulp and paper industry to reduce the share of this cost.

Leveraging the advantages of industry 4.0, Solar Turbines’ cogeneration plants and direct drying integrations optimise the cogeneration plant management with a fully integrated production system, based on the monitoring of external and internal parameters.

With a constant monitoring of the production loads, tariffs variations, incentives and load sharing opportunities, the technology allows integration of utility and production system to maximise cost saving.

Thomas W. Schulze, market development manager with Solar Turbines commented,  “Efficient energy cost management will be the key to the global success of a corporation, with an increased emphasis on sustainability nowadays.”
