After the very well received Senior Management Symposium on 6 June, Asian Paper & Tissue World Bangkok conference continues on 7 June with the New Applied Technology Sessions, covering the latest trends in Fibers and Paper Industry 4.0.

Bill Moore, the president of Moore & Associates, is the first to present in the “Fibers: Trends, Outlook and Processes” session. His presentation entitled “World Recovered Paper Markets” will review trends in supply, demand and pricing for all recovered paper grades of interest to paper and board producers, plus those of interest to tissue producers.

Prior to initiating Moore & Associates, Bill held a series of positions in the solid waste, paper, and recycling industries. These include founder and VP of Paper Recycling International and the first Director of Recycling for Waste Management, Inc.

Following Bill’s presentation, Eva Wackerberg, the Applications RD&I Manager from AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals will present on “Global Trends in Pulp Bleaching and Proposed Ways to further Decrease the Water Usage in ECF Bleaching”. In the afternoon, an international panel of speakers will take the stage to present in the much anticipated session focusing on Paper Industry 4.0. Speakers hail from Metso/ Klabin Brazil, ABB Finland, Greycon UK and SKF Asia Pac Singapore. Topics covered include Industry 4.0 case studies, digital mill operations and IoT.
