Technical Views: Simec revolver: one more solution within the ‘Simec concept’

Simec Group has launched what it terms a “new revolutionary sleeve handling and storage system: Revolver”. This allows sleeves to be easily transferred from the printing press to the cleaning equipment and afterwards to the warehouse, through proper devices aimed at avoiding any possible damage and guaranteeing the greatest care.

Most of the damages occurring to anilox sleeves are typically the consequence of these operations. Consequently, Revolver represents an improved solution to ensure correct sleeve handling and a reduction in sleeve reconstruction costs. This also leads to a more efficient storage organisation of the printing equipment and to improved production quality, without the need to invest in expensive and bulky stocking systems.
