Wetzel launches Velox and Velox Persisto at Tissue World

Wetzel has launched two embossing technologies, Velox and Velox Persisto, that help reduce by up to 75% time to market for new embossing tissue designs and also reduce costs by up to 40% compared to traditional engravings in steel, the company says. The 3-D direct laser engraving technology behind the two product types allows a wider range of creativity of design patterns without the traditional limits. Velox also helps enhance tactile sensation of the finished tissue product. Velox Persisto, which involves a metallized engraving of advanced materials, is also durable.
