Tezol trebles capacity at Izmir

Tezol is a group of companies which includes a paper mill and converting factory in a facility of 70,000 m2 (25,000 m2 closed area) located in Izmir, which is aiming to become one of the country's biggest companies producing and converting its own tissue. The company's current tissue production capacity is 1500 tons/month but it is now in the process of launching its new paper mill and expects to have 3000 tons/month of additional capacity by early next year. Already in 2007 the company undertook a project to improve customer satisfaction by adding deinking for recycled paper. This will help it take advantage of growth in the market for environmentally friendly tissue in the dynamic Turkish market.

Tezol exports tissue jumbo reel products to the Middle East and Europe as well as in the local market, where it describes its position as "quite strong"..The company holds the ISO certificate 9001:2000 certified by ABS Quality Evaluations Inc.

Tezol's sister converting company Europap has converting capacity of 2500 ton/month. Its machine park consist of one PCMC maxim, one rewinder, one ITAL converting, rewinder and one LMS rewinder, which produce toilet paper anh kitchen towels. Also there are three Ilseman napkin lines and wrapping machines.
