PMP Intelli-Tissue™ 900

As a result of tissue market growth in selected markets (especially Chinese & Eastern European), consumers' expectations have become more sophisticated. At the same time, there are also more and more companies that are interested in starting their own tissue business. Every time, they are looking for economical and flexible solutions to keep their business profitable.

To combine simplicity, technology and at the same time keep investment costs low, PMP has recently launched Intelli-Tissue™ 900 line and opened a new manufacturing facility in China: PMP IB (Changzhou) Machinery & Technology. Response from the market has been very positive. Last year PMP won two tissue projects in China. One of them is the complete new Intelli-Tissue™ 900 line for Anhui Bilun Tissue Paper Co (Smile).

Intelli-Tissue™ 900 is an efficient, operator-friendly and cost effective eco-tissue machine installation. Key technical data are: maximum operating speed up to 1000 m/min, machine trim 2.4 or 2.7 m, basis weight on the wire 11-25 g/m², the average production 40-45 tons/day. The machine configuration is a typical crescent former machine with a 12- ft diameter yankee dryer and a steam-heated yankee hood.

As a turn key project, PMP offers the complete design of the stock preparation system including virgin or recycled fibre lines, broke line and water system. In PMP designs, software for flow balance - CADSIM Plus - is used, that allows real-time simulations of the entire process and water and mass balances to be made.

Intelli-Tissue™ 900 technological line includes sections as follows: Intelli-Jet VT™ headbox; Intelli-Former™ (Crescent Former type); Intelli- Press™ (single nip); Intelli- Reel™ .
